Ars Erotica, Ars Theoretica, Ars Politica
Partial Objects operates through three intertwined registers:
Ars Erotica: Knowledge rooted in sensation, intimacy, and embodied experience. It aligns with Schopenhauer’s assertion that aesthetic and sensory engagement allows temporary liberation from the Will (Schopenhauer, 1969, p. 156).
“In ars erotica, truth is drawn from pleasure itself” (Foucault, 1990, p. 55).
Ars Theoretica:Speculative essays, diagrams, and conceptual work, situated and provisional. These fragments provide interpretive tools without claiming finality, echoing Schopenhauer’s preference for intuitive insight over systematic explanation (Schopenhauer, 1969).
Ars Politica: The archive is inherently political. Decisions about preservation, circulation, and accessibility intervene in institutional hierarchies, redistributing authority and challenging traditional ownership structures.
